This rice has been parboiled with its glume (husk). It is elongated and stands out for its golden colour and slightly cereal-like flavour. One of its main advantages is that it does not stick or overcook, leaving loose grains once cooked.

It grain is elongated and is more or less white, but always uniform. It does not stick easily and requires more time and water to cook due to its high amylose content.
