Small, light brown lentil mottled with shades of green and brown. Used a lot for legume salads and stews.

This is the largest of all lentils. It is a light reen lentil with some darker grains. Its grain is wide, rounded, flattened and in the shape of a lens. It has a very thin skin and stands out for its tenderness and smooth flavour.

A mall diameter, light green lentil with some darker shades. They cook fast and do not require leaving them to soak. It is used in legume salads and as a garnish for stews.

Very similar to the red lentil with regard to properties and nutritional values, basically being differentiated by their colour and the fact the yellow lentil is slightly larger. Just like the red lentil, the yellow lentil has no skin which makes it easier to digest.

Lentil with a black skin and yellow albumen. It is small and almost spherical. It loses part of its colour once cooked. Can be used both for a dish of legumes or for salad/stew dishes.
